Kate Hatch
Executive Director

Joining our Koru Team in 2025, Kate brings more than five years of experience in the assisted living industry. She has a background in both assisted living and skilled nursing; assisted living is truly where her heart lies.
As a leader, Kate takes a resident-centered approach that focuses on delivering the highest quality of care while fostering a strong sense of teamwork. She also strives to build and maintain a positive culture for residents, staff, and families alike — one that reflects compassion, respect, and excellence in everything we do.
Outside of work, she and her husband are the proud parents of two busy sons who play travel hockey and baseball. As a family, they are huge Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Vikings fans and love traveling to Minnesota to catch games whenever they can. They also enjoy spending time outdoors together — hunting, fishing, and taking annual fishing trips to Canada are some of their favorite family traditions.

Daniel started with The Sonnet at Tennyson in 2024. He studied Business Administration in Ecuador and has over 4 years of experience in the healthcare field. Daniel has served The Sonnet as a Service Coordinator and received a promotion to Business Office Manager in 2025.
Dedicated and passionate about his role, Daniel is committed to continuous improvement and innovative healthcare services.
Jennifer Krause

Jennifer joined Koru Health in April 2024, first at Sage Meadow of Middleton and now at the Sonnet at Tennyson. Jennifer is a Master's Level Professional Counselor with over 30 years’ experience in the Assisted Living and Senior Services Industry. She has specialized training supporting individuals with dementia and their care partners. She greatly enjoys helping families navigate the journey in choosing the right care community for their loved one. She is a strong advocate for others, offering patience and guidance. Jennifer is a proud Mom, honored Daughter and Sister, Badger and Brewer Fan and Animal Lover!
Kelsey Gladem, RN, BSN

Kelsey began with the Sonnet at Tennyson in February 2026 as a Clinical Manager with over 4 years of nursing experience with a variety of experience in the nursing field. Known for her patient centered approach, Kelsey strives to build meaningful relationships with the residents & their families while advocating for quality care & enhanced quality of life. Her clinical expertise, combined with empathy & strong communication skills, allows her to effectively support older adults through complex healthcare challenges. Her passion for serving the aging population reflects deep respect for the life experiences & contributions of elders.

Wisconsin born chef with 25 years of island life in Key West, John brings together coastal flavors and Midwest comfort cooking in Assisted Living Dining. John is passionate about creating meals that feel like home while adding a fresh, laid-back Keys influence. John prides himself with a people's first approach, hearty flavors and creating dining experiences that bring our residents comfort and connection. Outside the kitchen, John enjoys sports, fishing and spending time on the water.
Mariah Burmah

Mariah started with Koru in March of 2026. She is a dedicated and compassionate Administrative Assistant with experience supporting daily operations in an assisted living facility. Skilled in providing high-level administrative support, coordinating schedules, managing records, and assisting both staff and residents with professionalism and care.
India West, CMA, EMT
Service Coordinator

India joined The Sonnet at Tennyson in March 2026. She is a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and trained military medic, bringing a strong clinical background and adaptability to her role. With about three years of experience working with seniors, India is committed to providing attentive, compassionate care while supporting the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.

Carmine joined the Koru Health Family in 2024. Carmine has been meticulously maintaining Senior Living Communities in the Madison Area for over 15 years. Literally, a Jack-of-All-Trades, Carmine prides himself with his knowledge and experience in facility maintenance, life safety measures, and overall "whatever the resident needs." Carmine has a positive, humorous approach to daily work and values, making our residents and families happy. Outside of work, he is an avid Chicago Sports Fan supporting The Cubs and The Bears, loves to nurture plants, raise African Cichlids Fish and enjoys cooking for his family.
